instead of having us develop into what they want us to be or taking on the risk that it'll never happen

it can be a really difficult conversation from both ends, I dont think I've ever seen a plot where a woman wasnt everything a man was looking for after they were together but I know it happens

also I think men would rather stick through these kinds of things (so long as love and respect were there) than ever be single again, I've seen women just throw in the towel on dudes I considered to be "good" from the outside looking in because he wasnt "perfect" or "ideal" (as opposed to a bum like dude on Insecure)
