if feels like rational thinking lost
and i dont know what this new way of thinking or decision-making actually is
it has bigger implications considering the challenges we have to face moving forward
(climate change for example. if we cant even base decisions on simple facts on the ground
how will we ever handle something as complex as climate change.

also the reactionary environment this has become
it feels like people are willing to make decisions against their best interests, based on....
i dont know what its based on
some of it is apparently 'sticking it to the man'
some is plain old bigotry (this is inexcusable)
and others.... i dont know.


i think its good to have idealism, but its far better to have pragmatism
