this started with a discussion about 'protest votes' this has never been about me convincing you how to how to vote or vice-versa i dont know why you think id bother with that but rather how you are interpreting Blow's article it has been about whether or not it is foolish to 'protest vote or to not vote' (it is). you can choose to not be pragmatic and vote you ideals, many people do that, even with the understanding that its not going to make a dent but if someone is voting because they think it will change the system? or electoral college? or change people's minds about libertarianism or eco-socialism (is this even a thing) then they are extremely naive
you can choose to embrace it but its hard to justify/ rationalize it
