respect means

don't unfairly judge or perpetuate stereotypes
don't discriminate when hiring
don't misgender someone
don't treat people like they're less than
don't vote against the interests of the most vulnerable folks
do actively advocate for equity & inclusion when its within your power to do so
do speak up when you see someone being harmed
etc etc

it does not mean you have to date or fukk someone in that group
