it's like the difference between tolerance and whatever the new standard is

i'd date a bisexual woman...i'd date a gay woman if she was so inclined to do so...

but i, like most of the world am transphobic and would not date a transwoman...and i don't support all policy surrounding transpeople...

i'm for equality in theory but don't fully accept it in practice more often than I would like to admit

i'm ok with it in regards to public restrooms...not so much with prisons...and pretty much open to everything else for the most part

so i can understand the reasoning but even if i weren't transphobic...i'd likely have similar objections
