its not enough to say previous trade deals did this.... and so future trade deals must result in that
and besides, there is no consensus that NAFTA fucked up the global south - the mexican economy has certainly benefitted from that agreement - which is why this deficit with the U.S and this is the key argument against NAFTA- is the loss of manufacturing jobs in the U.S so this is about local protectionisms - that's exactly the republican argument for make america great again, in my opinion- and about anti-globalisation
the united states has also benefitted from the agreement - but this is often overshadowed (i dont know what PPP is, btw)
how is TPP a mirror? unless we are saying that all trade agreements are bad? free trade is bad? i don't agree with that.
