So they value have a more toxic environment (and by your reckoning) that "increases" the number of people on to get clicks to increase "value."??

First , how valuable should a toxic shithole be? - even when lots of toxic people go there.

And wouldn't making something less toxic actually increase the numbers of "real" people (who advertisers SHOULD care about - troll accounts and fake bot accounts can't be making them money) and increase the real value of the company?

This is Twitter's core problem in a nutshell - the people in charge aren't doing the right thing because they are "business people" who really have no empathy or sense of morals if it gets in the way of some future profit.

Some companies are run differently - Apple makes money and I certainly would not imagine they'd let the trolls get this out of hand.

Facebook has many less trolls too.

It's all about management.
