13022874, Turn me on to some good podcasts
Posted by Ron Burgandy, Wed May-18-16 08:58 AM
I'm caught up on Combat Jack, Juan Ep,NPR Microphone Check, Music Snobs, Serial, This American Life and I can't get into Taxstone or Premium Pete.

Podcasts literally keep me sane while dealing with ATL traffic. Turn me onto something new!

I also like The Generation Why, but it pales in comparison to Sword and Scale.

I just mentioned true crime garage below!

Last Podcast on the Left kind of bugs me. I haven't given it too much time, but I really come from this head of TRUE CRIME IS AWFUL so we can't joke about it. Have they done an episode on Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka? That is some sick shit, man.

Criminal is ok but not gory enough for my sick mind. I don't want to hear about people who are helping the terminally ill commit suicide. I want to hear about the TED BUNDYs of the world. Gimme some stone cold killers, man!

I haven't heard of All Things Awful before -- I'll check it out.

You absolutely don't need to know the movies they talk about although if you're like me, you'll make a point to watch them after you hear the related podcast. Paul Scheer, June Diane Raphael and Jason Mantzoukas are hilarious.

Back on the topic of true crime, though, True Crime Garage is pretty good, but you might have to give it a little time to worm its way into your heart.

Then again them niggas have a podcast on wrasslin. A whole 30 minutes dedicated to sweaty men in draws wrasslin each other is too much.

So Well Spoken is dope as it's a bunch of dudes from something called SL&ENT.

Angry Fans Radio is a podcast dedicated to battle rap.
13023354, Switched On Pop is fantastic
Posted by CaptNish, Wed May-18-16 05:45 PM
We The People Live can be good depending on the guests. The Michael Rappaport Stereo Podcast is fun if he's talking about a good topic. Harmontown. JRE. History On Fire. Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast. The BEE podcast was great when it was on. Need that back.

13023473, POSTJACK: Can we talk about the Curren$y ep?
Posted by Kira, Thu May-19-16 12:23 AM
This dude really went in-depth on why blunts are bad for people. That whole back and forth with Nore about this issue was fascinating. His lean story was hilarious and sad at the same time. Drink Champs need to avoid legal issues on their podcast as Curren$y did the Tekken side step to those questions.
13023478, Cop a one month backstage pass to the phil hendrie show
Posted by Cold Truth, Thu May-19-16 01:56 AM
Just download everything you possibly can in that month and cancel.

He's a genius but he's such a royal prick I can't be bothered to support him month to month.

Still, grab some eps of the following characters and your good as gold:

-Ted Bell.
-Jay Santos
-Bobby Dooley
-Lloyd Bonafide
-Vernon Dozier
-Herb Sewell (just a heads up, he's not for the faint of heart but he can be 'holy shit' levels of morbid hilarity)

There's plenty more. Some bits can be very hit and miss but when Phil is on point he's god status in the field of... uh... whatever the fuck you classify his show as. Just avoid anything past, say, 2010. It gets pretty bad after that.
