He's not ready for that fight with the glass house of divorce baggage he has and the host of bankruptcies and bad business deals former partners will come out of the woodwork to blast him on. His personal file is looooooog too, and he cant win that battle.

The national electorate is far more resilient and less tolerant to his impulsive, inflammatory bs than the Repub base is.

Remember, as the nominee, the RNC has to reluctantly wave the Trump flag till Nov and you know his impulsive ass will not be controlled or listen to what they have to say. He's his own man and will stay randomly off-script.
