do the mashups...Elton/Gaga <-- that show, not sure of the year

but it was an obvious attempt to make these old dusty acts relevant to a new audience

and I want to say that was on the heels of Em/Elton opening a prior show, which didn't feel as forced

in addition to the death of music radio, for me anyway, I don't even know what radio programming sounds like today

compared to my youth, the radio was jammin' 24/7

the grammys use to be an opportunity for a couple of new acts to get national exposure

now, I don't know most of the acts, and they aren't impressing me at all.

I know, you know, we know...what's hittin'

half the show is shyte being forced on the viewer now, IMO

it didn't feel like that 15-20 years ago, IMO.

no rock acts...other than being force fed hollywood vampires, which was cool for what it was
no indie rock/alternative acts, EDM, etc...

just pop, r&b, or country...and no attempt to connect them.

Ccrest is turning this jawn into the billboard awards

there use to be a difference.
