Folks are getting paid off Apple dropping dough for exclusive streaming (I think Drake got like 20M for that itunes exclusives).

Or streaming + sales (Beiber still moved 500k albums for purpose even though it was freely available on streaming sites).

or exclusive sales then streaming (Adele).


But exclusive streaming on a service like Tidal (which I don't think pays big upfront, but I could be wrong).
