not in the sense that the meaning is exactly the same... but in the sense that, with subtle changes in enunciation, they can imply different levels of emphasis.
they are basically all purpose words

i like the hand signal that goes with it....hold your thumb and middle finger together, whip your hand down and then up real quick so that your index finger snaps against the middle finger...i need to use that way more than i do

I'm listening to 2 Jamaican barbers chop it up and every other sentence has bloodclot or bombaclot.
I figured it's as you say but wondered if there's a nuance I'm missing.
