12960985, ATL Okp's good veggie friendly W.African restaurants, MARTA day pass and.... Posted by normal35762, Thu Jan-21-16 07:00 PM
other questions.
Might be headed to ATL next weekend.
Wanted to get your tips and suggestions on....
1. Where to get a MARTA day pass from? U can purchase one at the train station?
2. Any good veg/vegan or veg/vegan friendly West African restaurants in the area. Preferably within bus/train range.
3. Good W.African grocery stores? Good Somali grocery stores? I wanted to get some Somali tea.
4. Good Caribbean grocery stores?
5. Good Black owned spots to get cocoa butter products?
Thanks for any suggestions.

12961389, Most of the West African stuff is gonna be off the rail a bit, but mostly Posted by placee_22, Fri Jan-22-16 09:35 AM
accessible by bus.
Clarkston is probably the best bet. For restaurants and grocery stores.
Norcross is another place with a ton of W.Africans.
I'm sure there's stuff in the city, but I mostly know Caribbean spots there.
I'm being really general w/ city names, because I can't remember the names of any of those places.
In Clarkston tho, you could literally just get off the bus at N Indian Creek Dr & N Decatur Rd, walk up N.Indian Creek and take your pick.
There's a strip on Memorial drive near the dunkin donuts and advance autoparts with a decent coffee shop and a cafe too.
