Why not? What makes her special? What makes her the exception here?

You talk like you’ve NEVER just been around some buddies and someone had that one girl that one time, or you saw that one waitress, or whatever, and had a conversation along the lines of “yo is it me or does she look a lil manly?” or some shit along those lines. Like… you’ve NEVER expressed an opinion on someone’s appearance?

Be honest about that. Even if you haven’t, it’s a no harm, no foul scenario.

It’s one thing if folk are going in on her directly and telling her she’s ugly or whatever. You’d have a point in that case. Like, if you had some tore up waitress on mud duck status and the table was going in and cracking on her for it instead of talking amongst themselves, yeah. You have a point. But this? You’re going too hard to cape. You’re “taking a stand” on something incredibly insignificant. It’s textbook holier than thou armchair activism at its finest.

>she might be famous but she is still a
>human and it must be one heavy stone to carry knowing goat
>mouthed mouth breathers on an internet message board are going
>in on her looks.

Yeah, she’s famous. This comes with the territory.

Again, lazy armchair activism. Kill the melodrama fam. If we’re all ‘goat mouthed mouth breathers on a message board’- a wholly unattractive description of ever there was one- then why, exactly, would this be such a heavy stone to ‘carry’?

That description further establishes the fact that this is really of minimal consequence and an awful lot to do about very little on your part.

>I mean, yeah all that other shit you mentioned is herb worthy
>BUT, yadda yadda yadda
………right.
You’re trying to discuss an issue without actually discussing the merits of the arguments being made. You’re sidestepping the key point in my post:
There’s really not much to talk about with Lil Mama. There’s nothing of note to discuss. She’s pretty much on Kardashian status. Her art is not significant enough to spark any sort of discussion and THAT is the reason she’s ‘reduced’ to something other than her art. She’s nothing more than a pop personality at this point and the things people will talk about will be about as empty as chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side.
