walking around NYC not packing.
12957701, what does that have to do with anything?
Posted by Cenario, Fri Jan-15-16 01:18 PM
He was suspended and had his gun and shield taken away and it clearly wasn't for his protection.

Isn't the doj still investigating? He's not going to get any discipline from the nypd til that's completed. in the meantime, he ain't a cop.

12957862, i guess this is your typical contrarian just to be contrarian steez...

The DOJ is done investigating and he is free and clear. The only reason he is still "suspended" is because they don't know what to do with him because he can't really go back out on the streets. He's on desk duty drawing a cop's pay and cop benefits.
12957928, nah its my typical come with facts to respond to your dumb posts

Where did you hear that the doj investigation to the cop is over?

here are multiple links explaining why the officer hasn't been charged per DOJ and why the sergeant was.

http://www.ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/news/2016/01/8/nypd-sergeant-on-modified-duty-after-dept--probe-of-eric-garner-death.html

After a grand jury declined to issue indictments, the Justice Department launched an investigation, telling the NYPD to hold off taking action against Officer Daniel Pantaleo, who placed Garner in the chokehold. But Adonis was charged now because an 18-month statute of limitations, set by the sergeants union contract, was about to run out.

http://www.democracynow.org/2016/1/12/eric_garners_daughter_instead_of_black

The internal charges against Adonis come just over a year after a grand jury elected not to indict white officer Daniel Pantaleo for killing Garner in a chokehold. Pantaleo remains under Justice Department investigation.

http://www.silive.com/news/index.ssf/2015/04/internal_nypd_probe_into_garne.html

The NYPD is largely finished with its probe of NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo's conduct in the July 17 death of Eric Garner, but it won't act on its findings until the U.S. Justice Department completes its civil rights investigation.
