kinda hard to ride for someone that admits to doing exactly what they're accused of.

The other issue at play here is Bill's image in the public eye. For nearly 30 years he was America's Dad. Go back even further and he was your moral compass and educator. People of all walks of life, of all races and ethnic backgrounds, looked up to Bill Cosby and viewed him as a wholesome, moral individual thanks to his shows, "Fat Albert", Picture Pages, and his stand-up routines.

Entire generations grew up with Bill from pre-school to well into adulthood; it's no surprise that the masses are in disbelief. The allegations are completely counter to what we've come to know as "Bill Cosby". It only makes sense that this state of disbelief extends to a "wait and see" attitude instead of jumping immediately to crucify the man.

This is the "OJ Trial" for this generation but instead of dividing us by race, it will divide us by sex and age.
