formerly of Atlantic Starr. she turned it down cold.
and it took some behind the scenes to make it get down
and Janet wasn't all that on Jam and Lewis because when she was about to start on the rhythm nation project she was working with some other folks
and the powers that be at A&M said and I quote go call Jam and Lewis and get them whatever they want.
Janet wasn't on board.
