because the dude has the right to defend himself
and you can see he was trying to avoid the confrontation until ol dude hit the box the other guy was carrying
he didnt seem to do anything excessive so most likely if the state determines he was in the right to defend himself then he may be ok
then you have a whole slew of civil type things that can come up
it really is a bad situation for everyone and I have a friend that bounced for 10 years and stuff like this was always his biggest fear, defending yourself from someone that obviously is looking for trouble and something really really bad happens as a result
