going to 28 again this wkd but then nights in the 40s again next wk. Long as I cover it up on Fr. & Sat. nights, looks like I may well have fresh greens into 2016.
Lettuce if it doesn't go to seed

Beets (they're teeny though)

have now seen an early variety in full bloom at three different places in the Philly metro area.
My hellebore that doesn't bloom until March is in full bloom. Also have a few violets in bloom in the garden and my snowdrops are almost done (some have even gone to seed.) In the veggie patch the bok choy plants are in bloom.
Went to an arboretum for a walk yesterday and two kinds of viburnum were in bloom along with a jasmine and a spirea.
Crazy.
