It's a tragedy when religious fanatics murder innocent people at a concert or a restaurant in Paris, and it's just as much a tragedy when religious fanatics murder innocent people seeking medical treatment in Colorado.

But the murderous religious fanatic in the latter case was nurtured by our own culture, our own leaders.
