I think this is the way it should be, but it isn't in a lot of instances where there are blacks/other minorities involved IMO. On the one hand this resolution might be the model I desire for all police confrontations but it only makes me more angry about the ones that don't go this way for minorities and how minority voices who share my concerns get trivialised or dismissed by the media or law makers.

I think you make an honest attempt to be balanced, that's important in this polarised day and age.
