And times like this I feel a lot of conflict personally.

Like "oh they didn't shoot him? Must be white"

I have those same thoughts but I was listening to the police frequency and heard them exchange fire with him.

And i heard whoever was in command warn everyone on the the scene that he might be ready to surrender and basically warn everyone not to be quick on the trigger. Do they shoot him with his hands up if he's black? Maybe, I don't know, but I was listening and these were clearly highly trained officers who were 100% ready to kill if necessary but not eager to kill by any means.

I don't know. It just saddens me how quick people are to pick teams and fight for that team when this happens. A college campus cop was killed trying to respond. At least two people who were at the clinic are dead and they were probably bleeding out for hours while police tried to stabilize the situation and had at least 1 killed and 4 others shot in the process.

The whole thing is awful and I'm not at all eager to use it to serve my political agenda.
