man this week was crazy but in a good way
a lot of very bizarre/absurd things happening but i'll deal
2 of 3 DJ gigs down with 100% positive feedback
i was getting worried because the past few things i've done i really wasn't loving my sets but i did a complete refresh this week and everything is sounding amazing
and what i am most happy about? MY BEST FRIEND IS COMING TO TOWN!!!

and they will be packed. don't want to leave them with a bunch of stuff to do in my absence.
it's been a nice run here, but my heart definitely was not in the work.
starting the new gig on nov. 16 :-)
got a chance to briefly hang with my best friends this past weekend, and i loved our time together - albeit it being way too short. love those ladies.
looking forward to catching up on a lot of tv this weekend.
oh and getting my ass in the gym since i've slacked with travel.

i just got back the results of my MRI & lab work and my doc said i'm fine. even my liver is fine which was shocking to me cuz i've been punishing it over the past 18 months.
but doc said i'm good. even the brain tumor that once wreaked havoc on my well-being is under control and no longer a problem.
only thing i got going on is vitiligo which i've gotten used to and these extra 15-18 lbs that i should drop for vanity's sake.
i think i'm aiight

i got a clean bill on a few procedures i've had to do the past month or so
it's a good feeling. but always a good reminder to do better

man this was a trying ass week, esp yesterday but i'm sitting on a flying ride flying towards a few days of fun and art. i've been counting down the days til this trip. get to kick it with my bestie, see some friends, go to a few fancy smancy art dinners and go to VIP preview of my friend's solo exhibition. :-)
i miss the boy and his daddy but i need this mental health break.
