the kids think molly (aka powdered ecstasy) is 'pure'...b/c their drug dealers tell them it is.
guess what? way back in the wayback our drug dealers told us pills were pure.
it turns out molly is just as likely to be stepped on (aka cut w/substances other than MDMA) as anything else sold as ecstasy (http://www.slate.com/blogs/crime/2013/10/25/molly_mdma_the_club_drug_is_dangerous_but_not_for_the_reasons_you_d_think.html).
also back then i regularly had access to powdered 'pure' ecstasy in capsules. so kids having access to powdered MDMA isn't a new thing at all.
