i'm not into lsd anymore b/c the last stuff i used was so strong i didn't enjoy it.

when you're young and eager and have the right mindset, LSD is a beautiful fucking thing. when you have real shit to worry about and/or you've lived a little, it might get too intense. it's not like shrooms either where you can kinda fight the trip and neutralize it. buy the ticket, take the ride. i never had a negative experience with either but i also do not want to. i did both past 25 but not much past, maybe like 27. once i took them together, whoa, that was explosive even with a smaller-than-usual dose of each. taking LSD and E together is pretty awesome, it ensures a positive vibe and they have a synergistic reaction as well.

IMO anything less than 10X and you will just feel weird. i think it's a pretty crappy drug. it also tastes/smells bad.

this is a great question, basically they have been replaced by other drugs and those drugs also get abused. i heard they are still available in some countries. my buddy's dad swears we missed the fuck out on ludes, but then again now he takes an ambien when he *wakes up*.

yes, absolutely. in the 70s there was basically a deal cut that weakened doses considerably and that has remained the "industry standard." in other countries you can still get the old-school strength. like in south america the LSD is WAY stronger than the stuff in the states, like 3-4 times as heavy on average, which is what it was in the 60s. there are still people out there making the common types of lsd (25, 26, 27) and candy flip type pills also.

the real, real DMT is hard to find the synthesized one pops up here and there. the natural one (you combined with ayahuasca to make the OG DMT compound) you can find in some of the forests in colombia, peru, etc but that sounds hairy. it's really fucking crazy, if you have ever ridden montezuma's revenge (the rollercoaster) that gives you an idea. from the second you exhale it slaps you in the fucking face and everything moves super fast. it's kind of like in the matrix when the dude learns how to speak chinese and do five styles of martial arts in like 30 seconds. it's all happening too fast to hear let alone repeat, yet your mind processes it. if you close your eyes, you see all sorts of vivid colors in kaleidoscope patterns. several people say they hear women's voices, like sirens, too. opening your eyes i wouldnt bother with but it's pretty fucking crazy, too, everything looks like it is melting.

2CB is more of a club drug and it's pretty fun. the same guy who invented MDA and MDMA came up with it. it's only popular in certain places but it's fun for clubbing, sex, etc, IMO better than E, especially for men. you get this warm sensation at first and then you start to "float." like if you're seated you feel like you're rising up even if you're sinking, and if you're standing you kind of feel like the puck on an air hockey table, slightly but clearly elevated. it has a nice euphoric feeling and makes you sensitive to touch like E. if you take big enough dose, you will also hallucinate moderately and you can shut your eyes and kind of fall into a "hole" (not as intense as a K hole but more pleasant).

The real deal is like 15-30 minutes, the synthetic one is more like five *maybe* ten if you really nail it. You have to "break through" though, otherwise you will just feel kind of halfassed, sweaty and weird. When you do break through it's intense as fuck and then it's over. Seriously like a rollercoaster. The weird thing is that there is almost zero hangover, maybe like a ten-minute readjustment period to reality and then you're fine. I guess that is why they called it the businessman's LSD when it was somewhat popular.

2CB is pretty expensive but the doses are small. You can get 20 doses out of one gram I would estimate. It has gotten popular in some poorer countries as a rich person's drug (like club kids, high class prostitutes, etc) and there it's cheaper like $30-$50 a gram, but I heard in Europe it sells between 100 and 300 Euro depending on where you get it. It's fun, especially fun for getting it in, not feminizing and fluttery like MDA or MDMA.

I didn't see the doc though. You definitely feel a separation of mind and body although that happens with a strong enough dose of LSD, too. And yeah if you break through and you're able to focus, you feel like you're on some alternate plane of reality where all sorts of shit is being revealed to you. Physically you can of feel like you're floating and sinking at the same time, I don't know how to explain it. Like you feel your body sinking into where you're sitting but at the same time you have this ascending feeling. I recommend either a pretty big dose and just closing your eyes or a more moderate dose and being in nature. One time I was with my GF and we saw a gorgeous sunset while doing it. It was a little intense for her, like afterward she went to sleep (it was probably 7:30 at night).

Don't do it in a room full of people, that is a mistake. Chill with one or two other friends and take turns doing it. It also tastes, smells and feels weird, but you forget about that *very* quickly. You also have auditory hallucinations (something that happens with 2CB also, in addition to affecting your depth perception and balance), pretty strong ones actually. It's a five-sensory trip but I don't know if you're unaware or hyper aware. Like I said, a lot is going on and you can't process it in real time, it's happening too fast.

It was particularly nice though with no side-effects like teeth-grinding. I've never found E or Molly or whatever else they call it that was similar to that stuff. Everything just feels REALLY dirty to me. Alot of Molly going around Toronto is this brown shit that is kinda like a crystallized tar. I tried doing it twice and then just gave the rest away. I was getting fucked up....but it was NOT inducing a good mood. More like an anxious/speedy/amphetamine type of feeling that I wanted to go away as soon as it kicked in.

in the past shit was pretty well controlled, you had a good number of presses, pills, whatever that were known and reviewed and verifiable. with the capsules and powders, it's a crap shoot, and there is a proliferation of shoddy pills now, too. i am not into this shit but i know a lot of people who are and comparing the scene now to then, that's the major difference i see. most of a street drug than a community thing now.

But our guy Westhead broke the story about cocaine use in the NHL last week. He talked a lot about how much modern coke is cut with Levamisole which is just some nasty-ass shit. Toronto police were saying that a lot of the street coke is at least 30% levamisole. Often higher. That shit is WORSE for you than cocaine is.

I saw a Russian doctor talking about how that nasty krokodril (sp?) crap would be safe for human consumption if it were made properly in a lab instead of some nutjob's kitchen.

Isn't levasimole a thing for like parasites? All kinds of shit goes into coke, another reason it's a nasty drug to do especially on a regular basis. Baby laxative, lighter fluid, etc. The purity is not good in most parts of the world, like I was in Colorado a few years ago and the shit the kids were snorting was maybe 10% coke.

The coke thing in the NHL is a touchy thing. Last year I almost wrote a story on two players (one of whom has since been in the news) and their coke use but it would have used a lot of iffy sources, burned a lot of bridges and generally been some snitch shit. Now it's all over the news. I feel like the whole "cocaine use is up" seems like it may be suspect because in the ten years I've had any kind of contact with the league, it seems like a good number of guys were doing it (and in the 70s and 80s we know a lot were, too, remember the Sandersons and Fuhrs and so on).

The thing I don't like now is that the league had a very progressive drug policy and now I think that will become more conservative. I am all for a more hands-on approach from teams and more education/counseling programs. But I don't think they should try to chase a moving target with a bunch of extra testing and sanctions and stuff.

Late 90s/early 00s I used to party at big festivals and raves and shit. You had DanceSafe and you had some killer quality stuff. Now there is a lot of crap out there. At first the molly capsules were a cleaner, purer high in general, although sometimes they felt a little sterile. Now there is some real shit out there. I seldom fuck with anything like that now but my younger friends all do. It's a shame to see the quality of both capsules and presses declining.
