Do you automatically assume the worst?

I assume everyone my age with an internet connection has a Facebook, even if they dont go on it often

One of my closest homeboys from high school, no one knows what happened to him (we graduated in 1998 before cell phones) so Im hoping he isnt dead or locked up

I've heard another homegirl from elementary school became a doctor, so I wouldnt be shocked if she's just okay and busy. but it's just crazy when people seem to fall off the face of the earth

maybe I'll search LinkedIn, but I doubt anything will come up

media accounts has to be handled carefully. There's one friend in particular I search for maybe 2 or 3 times a year and he's still not on FB (I also search common friends of ours I know he would be connected to if he were on there.)

It's strange to me, but they're fine.
Well... one of them is an alcoholic and a bar tender... and bad shit happens to him. But pretty much normal for him.

ended up finding RIP posts about her on her family's pages. her baby dad ran her over and killed her. I was sad as hell, it had happened a year or two before i started wondering whatever happened to her.

wonder if folks think i'm dead, i have no social media presence now.

Kinda weird....4 outta the 6 of my closest, life-long friends don't use any social media at all. The have facebook accounts but haven't used them since the day they activated them. Seems like the chances of that are pretty slim.

I can't find dude for Jack. I just assumed that he doesn't fool with social media.

My graduating class is super tight, because 80% have known each other since 4th grade or longer. It's a glaring omission when someone isn't on FB. The few of us that have moved away from ATL seem to go even harder with keeping in touch on FB. I can only think of 1 person that's for sure locked up. The rest are MIA.

I don't do Facebook.
But, i'm from a relatively small town and keep loosely in touch, so I generally stay in the loop

but he is alright. he just doesn't rock with FB.

i assume they hate social media as much as I hate it - if not more. I say good for them. I don't assume the worst.

I told my wife that woman was sure on it a lot and he was never in any photos. She ended up stepping out on him and now they are divorced and she is a baby momma...

my boy moved out west, swore off Black women and is dating a bad Indan woman who is a VP of a small start up.

some are on there by default because their SO's are on and post pics of them but others just aren't on it at all. there's also plenty of folks who have accounts and just don't do anything on it.
