I prefer my artists to be themselves.

And I know, Dre never wrote his own shit. Ever. I get that. But throughout at least the MCs writing for him seemed to tailor the writing to fit a certain cadence and tone and delivery. Kendrick just writes....for Kendrick. Then hands it to Dre. It seems. Or whoever else is writing for this album.
