whats your counter to that? this is a sentiment I have come across more than a few times and I'm not sure how to even approach it, in my head I have a counter argument for just about everything but thats one where I woulnt know where to even put my boot.

those people are often captured and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Further, when we're talking about the deaths that spawned Black Lives Matter, they are beyond simple black/white dynamics. It is about an officer, who is an extension of an institution, abusing the authority our society has entrusted them with and doing so with no discernible consequence. If it happened to anyone of any race, it should be a major issue. However, it doesn't seem to happen to everyone. It only seems to happen to people of color and that is why the emphasis is on the deaths of black people.

Or however you want to phrase it. Just be sure to mention that the media outlets are all run by whites. Shuts them up every time.

If you get a response it'll be pretty nonsensical and you'll usually have an opening for:

"Why would the media which is run by whites ignore "X" type of story?"

You can just keep putting the screws to them after that by repeating variants of that follow up.

Name one time in recent memory a police officer killed a white male blonde female and the DA smirked through a press conference about refusing to indict the suspect. What about the white on black crime? Then I hit them with the white on white crime accounts for 84 percent of violent crime in America.

After that I point them in the direction of the documented downloadable findings of the Justice Department for both Ferguson and Stop and Frisk. Basically, if you disproportionately target a community then statistical evidence points towards negative trends in the community. NYC cops pulled over every black male in the city with that stop and frisk BS strictly talking facts. There was a twitter account that documented this and general consensus was if they're black pull them over.

This happens a lot and when they show their true color I respond appropriately.

But where to they go after that?

and their killers aren't convicted or sentenced.
