It matters to Drake though he wants to be recognized as a great, he wouldn't even admit because he wants respect as an mc, his fans wants to hear the hits but he wants respect for his talent and he always how he takes time to write, 40 came out defending him saying he does write so drake does wants to be respected. Drake cares what his fan think of him because if he's not respected he won't be place among the greats and thats his aim.
