i don't expect someone's opinion to change, but i'd think in all the time energy these people have put into posting on this subject here, there would be just once, some kind of actual reason that this issue is so important to them, or how it affects them personally, other than some generic shit about society or the gay agenda, or slippery slopes.

it's obvious why someone gay would care so much. for myself, i have relatives, extended family, friends who are gay, and it's important to me in that sense, but still don't feel the need to always chime in on the subject, but on the other end, reasons always seem to be pretty abstract. sure people are entitled to opinions, but to the point where they just can't be expected to "avoid a thread" lol. that shit's just odd
