Well, I suppose it's a bit of a noteworthy week with new releases coming out on Friday. That said, it was a pretty light week if you ask me. However, I was able to do what I do, and I dug up a nice, long list this week with some good dance, dance-pop and hip-hop (even Japanese hip-hop), and a bunch of lesser-known R&B. the day for new releases is now Friday. they gave some explanation why this was better but i forgot what that was.
i don't like it, and i wonder how it will affect sales because once Friday hits i feel like people get focused on their weekend. might not be until after the weekend when people pay attention to new music, or they might miss it entirely w/ that weekend distraction.

They say it's because people are out and about, just got paid, etc, and that should
boost sales, as opposed to people hearing about a new album in the middle of the
week and then having to wait for the weekend to roll around to cop with all that
time to stream and illegally download on their hands lol.
