In line with this thing called "Positive Friday", wanted to ask this question.


For me, my heart's been dead for a cpl years, energy, everything.
And I'm still rising, but things like fresh new music really make it soooo much easier.
For me, this new Bilal album really invigorated me.
Got me up and dancing endlessly, reflecting, visualizing & having visions.
I haven't written poetry nor produced in like 2 years yet it's even got me songwriting and I've never been one to songwrite, just spoken word & produce separately.
It's even got me blowing off the dust off my abandoned bass and my keyboard and resuming where I'd been in the past.

It's crazy how music can just light a wildfire in you.
Or even how it reminds you that you're worthy to create, so stop fronting and write down all those thoughts, bars, record those melodies you've been wanting to mess with, blow the dust off your super old beats and do sth with it damnit.

If you've come back from the dead....what had you arise?
