because knowing it, and seeing it in action, bring on new emotions.
i mean, isn't that why LeToya and LaTavia left..because Matt Knowles was grooming Bey and Kelly Rowland for solo stuff. even if it was known, they still felt some kinda way about it once it was actually happening.
