I remember coming to our weekly meeting late one time, and I didn't have time to get lunch, so I had just bought a small tray of watermelon, thought nothing of it. When it ended, she was like "I was halfway embarrassed...how's the black guy gonna come to the meeting late, and then be eating some damn watermelon????"
