12819821, when do you start kicking that air condition into high gear?
Posted by mistermaxxx08, Tue Jun-02-15 11:35 AM
some parts of the country and the world don't need AC, however for that that do,when do you get it kicking and is it something that you look forward to?

the AC has a incredible feeling at times.

85 with humidity

its the humidity that makes the difference

so high 70s and humidity
or just middle to high 80s

12819983, more than 2 days of temps above 85 degrees w/high humidity.
Posted by SoWhat, Tue Jun-02-15 01:33 PM
i can deal w/2 days. on the 3rd day it's time for the A/C.

note: i haven't had my window units installed yet this year. last summer i never had them installed b/c the air temps and humidity were not uncomfortable enough for long enough for me to need it. my ceiling fans did the job.

It's been going strong for a few months now.

My boy in northern Ohio said it was 40 degrees this past Sunday. *SMH*

12820095, i don't love it, but i also dont' love sweating sitting perfectly still.
Posted by KiloMcG, Tue Jun-02-15 02:27 PM
eff all that. i don't turn it down mad low or anything and keep the ceiling fans going.
12820105, you should probably try to lose some weight.

Posted by lfresh, Tue Jun-02-15 02:38 PM

12820529, What kind of answer is this?
Posted by The Wordsmith, Tue Jun-02-15 11:19 PM
I can't speak for Kilo but a grip of folks on here live in very hot AND humid areas. Skinny/slim folks catch hell with the heat in said areas as well. Aren't you from Canada? I would imagine that what's considered hot up there would be considered cool/decent weather in the southern region of the states.

12820106, agreed, i hate it too
Posted by initiationofplato, Tue Jun-02-15 02:37 PM
i prefer the hot air, air conditioned air feels soul less and stale to me.
12820116, as soon as I feel hot.... its set at 78
Posted by legsdiamond, Tue Jun-02-15 02:42 PM
but I think I need to set if for 76 before going to bed.

thermostat with a timer is the best shit ever
12820531, Once the weather hit the mid 80s and up...
Posted by The Wordsmith, Tue Jun-02-15 11:24 PM
...I finally caved in. Sweating in the house despite not doing any heavy activity is not the move.
