This clip got me questioning why I ever found her funny. Bridemaids was a classic and she had her moments on SNL. But I can't remember a hilarious character she played on SNL. Beyonce? Versace? Oprah? All of these were one-note and overrated. Besides Bridemaids what did she do that was hot? Nothing stands out to me. Some of these SNL women get graded a generous curve.

too me shes not hilarious but is funny
but she had actual acting chops so to me she kinda elevated the show a little
she could sing, act and be funny and she has alot of charisma.

I only asked if she was that funny. Seems like all her sketches had to do with singing or making a one-note weird voice. She wasn't that funny and that's fine.

who though you have to say was really talented....the mama's family character..and she had a hit record as a singer too.... everyone on Carol Burnett's show was like crazy talented...
Maya's cool though...she didn't get too many chances to shine on SNL but she was super versatile...
