Posted by MzOnyxVI, Tue May-19-15 01:50 PM
Listen.

Todays wash and go is my BEST EVER.

my girlfriends mom bought her Ouidad's Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel - didn't work well for her but I tried it this morning and I LOVE it.

What yall using?

12809308, looks great.
Posted by nayaa, Tue May-19-15 01:59 PM
i use devacurl's one conditioner & camille rose's almond twisting butter. sometimes i cut it with curl junkie's smoothing lotion. the twisting butter is really thick and i have fine hair

12809316, Avalon organic tea tree oil shampoo & conditioner
Posted by blackrussian, Tue May-19-15 02:03 PM
(thanks to all of you who suggested tea tree oil for the scalp issues i was having)

Almond & castor oil after i wash it.

Aveda light elements smoothing fluid or Aussie curl definition serum for styling, if i bother with products.
12809347, tea tree oil has saved my life
Posted by MzOnyxVI, Tue May-19-15 02:18 PM
my scalp gets ridiculously flaky and dry but i've been doing a tea tree/olive oil mixture and have seen tremendous improvement

12809739, I love how curly curl creme smells
Posted by MzOnyxVI, Tue May-19-15 08:10 PM
I buy it for my friend. He has one of those funky haircuts with a lot of hair on top but wasnt using any product so his hair was just sitting there. The curly curl cream really brought his curls to life.

Ive only used it for a bantu knot out

Loved the results
12809360, summa anything...

Posted by Kei2Lyfe, Tue May-19-15 06:06 PM
Komaza Care's Califia Styling Pudding
and
Qhemet Biologics Amla and Olive Oil Heavy Cream

My hair is never crunchy or sticky my wash and go lasts at least a week.
12809742, THIS is my REAL struggle - lasts a week?!
Posted by MzOnyxVI, Tue May-19-15 08:13 PM
I cant get past day 2

How long is your hair? What do you do to it at night?
12809746, My hair straight is armpit length
Posted by Kei2Lyfe, Tue May-19-15 08:18 PM
But shrunken it's like nape length. I'm 4b/c with really dense hair.
I put it in a puff and wrap a scarf around it at night. I oil or
moisturize every other night.
12809692, Entwine.

12809761, My Hair Hates Products.
Posted by jane eyre, Tue May-19-15 09:04 PM
I do very little to my hair! I can get away with just water, especially depending on humidity.

After 2 years of a LOT of trial and error through a bunch of products, my low-budget wash and go discovery is the Herbal Essence Hello Hydration conditioner. I sometimes use HE's Totally Twisted conditioner.

I've had to to debunk so many myths about my hair and hair care since I've gone natural. I try to honor what seems to make my hair happy vs. forcing it to look or be what it's not.

My hair seems to like air, water, and freakin' sunshine. Go figure. It's so much easier on my wallet.

I co-wash, maybe 2-3 times a week. No oils, no creams, no sprays, no nada. When I don't co-wash, I just shower and hydrate with water and distribute maybe a quarter's size worth of conditioner in my hair and leave it in.

I have a cabinet and box full of products that were a bust.

HE moisturizes my spirals. I don't ask questions.

Anyone tried goat's milk?

12811887, I love hello hydration - it smells amazing
Posted by MzOnyxVI, Thu May-21-15 03:14 PM
and it works wonders on my curls
12811721, olive oil as a wash and coconut for moisture or "grease"
Posted by boyd, Thu May-21-15 01:51 PM
12811918, Random Axe shampoo or maybe H&S
Posted by PoppaGeorge, Thu May-21-15 03:27 PM
yes, the fellas can "wash and go" too... 'specially with hair like mine.
