I want to plan a trip for my 30th birthday (3 years from now) to either Nigeria or Ghana. Which one should I start with?

I must say though as someone who is almost certainly (I say almost because I haven't done a genetic test, but relatives have...also the whole Caribbean black thing..)has some lineage in Nigeria specifically but West Africa generally, I did want to visit West Africa first....
Of course I'd be happy to go to any country on the continent....can you get me a discount on travel?

12807073, We have nice mangoes but...... Posted by AFRICAN, Sat May-16-15 05:16 PM
at my last job my manager was Indian and would always talk shit about our mangoes, we'd always argue about it. He went for vacation and brought me a dozen mangoes back. Shut me the fuck up. I had never (and still haven't to this day) tasted sweeter and juicier mangoes.it was unreal and worth his gloating.the crazy thing is they looked really average too.

12807084, You'd lose that battle Posted by AFRICAN, Sat May-16-15 05:27 PM
I've had mangoes from a lot of places, nothing even came close.
|
12807081, Indian mangos are the best in the world. It's not debatable Posted by guru0509, Sat May-16-15 05:21 PM
but I can bet money that the mangos you get are 10x better than the trash we get from Mexico or Hawaii.
Caribbean mangos are overrated too.
|
12807085, they say haitian mangoes are the best out of the caribbean Posted by SHAstayhighalways, Sat May-16-15 05:29 PM
i'm not impressed with mangoes at all in general. i guess i won't really know a good mango until i eat one from india lol

12807087, Agreed Posted by AFRICAN, Sat May-16-15 05:30 PM
Mexican mangoes are the worst, dry and bland. Maybe it's because they have to be picked early to last longer?
|
12807152, well, we have manga hinda in the south Posted by akon, Sat May-16-15 10:15 PM

it pains me to say this but it's really not the same. We are defeated akon.

12807186, Sheep are the shit Posted by AFRICAN, Sun May-17-15 02:36 AM
beef is great but the flavour in lamb is something else.so tender Baby goats are the way to go bro, our coconut island cousins use old and leathery goats in their food so they shoulder a lot of blame for goat meat hate. Baby goats well seasoned and well cooked (never medium) can go up against any meat and especially in a broth or curry type dish.
