to hear a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of rappers, most trying to get on around the time Game did. Some were Kendrick's age at the time, like 15-16, while some were 20-24. And looking at the ones that blew up and are active now? I wouldn't have predicted the majority...while the ones who I thought were dope as hell back then are nowhere at all to be found.

Kendrick just went into complete overdrive and became his own person.

when everyone started talking about him out of nowhere in February 09, I was just like "wait, the dude on that song with Dwele and Little Brother?????"
