So say your state decides that it wants to fight against gay marriage for the next five years. That's more money coming out of your state's pockets.
After that they attack social programs. The autism funding that the Illinois governor just struck out was saving $7 for every $1 that it was spending.
Whether we like it or not we exist in a society and not a vacuum. If our neighbors are struggling we're struggling.
