I would have expected my wife to mention that she was married somewhere in the exchange

which was the issue I was alluding to in my initial response

i.e., I prefer a woman who can shut down unwanted hollas

not a woman who expects me to do something about it

as far as the husband's response

he coulda strolled up gave her kiss, hey honey, etc...

didn't need to be an all out confrontation

but the shut down game should be on point by now
