i was in adams morgan about 5 years ago talking to a friend on a stoop. suddenly, a drunk white guy overheard me say the word 'precisely'.
he rushed over and gave me a handshake - with an incredulous expression & a low hanging lip.
from that day, and to this. everytime me and my buddy use a 'big word' we offer the other a handshake.
'... good word'
