12777817, Songs you haven't given up on.

Two years later, I'm still listening to Nakamarra by Hiatus Kayote, Trouble by French Montana, and Full Crate x Papa Ghana's L'Afrique.

I REFUSE TO LET THEM GO.

Even if they may or may not be so cutting edge anymore.

...also Dope Bitch by The-Dream.

Maybe an intervention is needed.

and

Mass Transit Premix

I know Lera Lynn is doing some kind of folk country thing that is getting lot's of exposure on www.rollingstone.com frequently

but...

I can't let go hoping Lera will come back to FLT RSK. An album of Lera and FLT RSK would knock me out.

Is in my opinion one of the best songs of the past 10 years. It's too bad there isn't anything quite that amazing on their album. Which is very good. Possibly great. But without something quite that accessible.

12778033, I mean, there's 1000s

I don't buy into the "song is too old" thing, at least when "old" is defined by the time it's been around.

But I *do* define songs as "old" when they're playing 100x an hour on the radio...such is the case with Uptown Funk right now. Eventually I'll like it again but as of now there's been times that song's been on three different stations at the same time and everytime I hear it I cringe and get angry.

But I mean...I haven't given up on like a billion songs from the 90s, sooo...I'd be here forever trying to answer this. Haha.
