i had a terrible habit, that i just couldn't shake.

we used to watch television together on the bed/futon.

the kind of television with commercials.

and for whatever reason, i'd convinced myself that commercial breaks = sex breaks.

every commercial break.

without fail.

as soon as the commercials started i wouldn't say anything - i'd just go to-town kissing. kissing everywhere and everything. i'd get to humping something. never any words. just loud kisses.

so, commercials don't really last that long and by the time the show came back on, i usually hardly made any real progress.

but i didn't take it as defeat. another commercial break was coming up and we could reset that shit. i could try out some other 'get you in the mood quick' move.

sure she kept gently pushing me away, but i just thought that was all part of the 'act'.

she must've really loved me to put up with that shit.

i mean, every commercial break. for real.
