https://www.blueapron.com

Not sure if its stuntin or if we would actually save money. I like to cook but anytime I try to get too creative I end up spending 25.00 on one meal after buying all the ingredients.

12765876, Just paid $89 for a week's worth of meals for a family of 3.....

that includes lunch and breakfast.....
no pre-prepared stuff either.....
12765898, $25 on one meal?

12765912, $20 for a family of 2.

which is still a lot but I keep comparing what we spend when we go out to eat.

I spend way less when cooking at home but once I add in the drive, time it takes to shop and how boring some of the meals are it makes me go hmm???

12765913, I don't see it as a way to save money, so much

as a way to learn how to make certain dishes without havibgvto gather up tye ingredients myself. It's a fun date, too.
12765916, exactly... first time I tried to cook some shit I saw on tv I spent 40 dollars

and it wasnt a success.

I'm comparing this to eaing out...

I know how to shop at a grocery store and save money. I have been doing that shit for 25 years..
12765960, i can't recommend the website skinnytaste.com enough

I like some of the ideas she has on here like crock potting chicken breast every week so she always has some on deck.

realized i'm too picky for it

good stuff if you aren't picky and have lots of time

12766429, cuts down shopping time

but it takes a bit of a system and/or teamwork for prep time and cook time to be accurate...

i can't cook or hate cooking and so it's perfect for me to learn and to do shit with my wife

it works but it's definitely something u have to make time for

but we don't go to the store as often so it's pretty much a wash
12766260, ...tried it... but the time for the meals... wasn't our goal.

12766445, It's cool for variety - I wouldn't count on it to save your time or money, tho.

the prep time etc was a deterrent.
