I wish more people (black people) were in to Shakespeare >even just for the sake of being able to spot a Shakespeare >reference in modern day entertainment (like Empire). I went >alone, but going alone is always better than dragging someone >along who doesn't want to be there. Who laughs >inappropriately, doesn't get the actual humor, and complains. >Especially since Shakespeare productions can be so long. Are >you in to Shakespeare?
i haven't seen a Shakespearean play in years but I've read most incarnates of his work. > >2. I doubt I will get any of these new streaming services. >Here lately, I just watch whatever I can find on regular TV or >Netflix. Haven't turned on Hulu in months. Between those three >and the website you gave me last year .. I am good. I don't >even watch TV that much anymore. Plus, I can see this whole >streaming industry going from being a cheaper option to being >a situation where people are forking out the same amount of >money per month, but to several different companies. Did you >sign up for Sling TV?
I signed up for it thru my amazon firetv and got 2 free weeks. I didn't choose to extend it past that simply because I was already getting access to most of SlingTV's content via other avenues---Sure SlingTV made it easier but I don't care about ease of use when content is all that matters. At the time, I was already viewing ESPN and they didn't have AMC yet so the cost of $20 wasn't a selling point. My issue with streaming is that there's no local content. The way my apartment is situated, I can't get a good local signal regardless of the antenna used--that's why I was so hurt when the $8/mo Aereo didn't pan out.

But again, >people respond unfavorably to that stuff. How would you >respond to someone suggesting you meet them in the park for a >walk?
I wish you'd talk to my girlfriend. She thinks every single event has to be over a meal. Her favorite event is brunch. I'm convinced that brunch was created to make black folks (i.e, women feel bougie). > >4. I don't pay for shit anymore and I like it. I read some of >the strangest things because the books are free for download >on websites and list serves I subscribe to. Some of the books >have been really good, but most are just weird. What the most >recent free find that got you excited?
I download magazines all the time. Nothing has gotten me excited recently...wait, I take that back i found a Richard Pryor documentary online that I've watched atleast 3 times in the past 2 weeks. > >5.The next 5 days are going to be really busy, but it will be >better than sitting in the house depressed. It snowed >overnight. I came down the steps this morning like "what is >that white stuff on the grass?" Then I was like "it >muthafuckin snowed in April! Muthafucka!!" Then i realized it >wasn't April yet. How often does that happen?
HA ha...it may as well be april. It isn't much left of March.
