And even if those anecdotes challenged the article those isolated stories are cute but the larger point remains - most men don't touch other men platonically (beyond greetings) largely bc that touch is reserved for sex or romance. That's where the fear of being mistaken for gay comes in - and it doesn't make these dudes bad ppl it is a result of conditioning. But it's clear - we don't cuddle or hold hands or exchange rubs with our homies as a result of socialization and conditioning.
