I can't pack her things so that is out of the question.
I've done this once before and did a treasure hunt in the house, she walked in and rose petals fell from the door with a clue on the back of the door. Each time she found the next clue there were more rose petals...last clue was a suitcase, telling her to pack.
Another time i created a crossword puzzle about facts about me/our relationship. After finishing the puzzle she had to take some of the letters and create a phrase...forgot what the final phrase was but it told her we were taking a trip.
Any suggestions?
why do i feel like i've made this post before lol. I may have even gotten the crossword puzzle idea from here.

She actually did get one answer wrong... My fav tv show.
She put The fresh prince but it was Law and order svu
Those were my top 2 of all time prolly so i gave her a pass.

and i put it on top of the pile and i hung around to make sure she saw it. She immediately thought it was from me but i told her it wasn't.

Only thing I can think of is if she reads magazines or books is to hide the tickets for the getaway location in between the pages. Not nearly as elaborate as that rose petals one though.
