Oh how far I've come. When I first started this job, I felt like I was drowning under the intense pressure and demoralizing hours. Definitely had a good humiliating train cry during a ride or two to Midtown lol. But when I finally learned to tread water and break new ground -- killing my body and social life in the process -- my accomplishments were virtually ignored.

This month, the game done changed. I am firing from all cylinders and slaying (I said SLAY-ING!) these hoes left and right. In our recent team meetings, my boss -- who has generally treated me as an invisible curiosity in the past -- has suddenly started proclaiming how awesome I am. I feel so confident in my abilities right now, reflected by the unmitigated audacity of what I've set my eyes on accomplishing over the next year.

Here's to having a vision -- and executing it against all odds.
