Madonna statement about Mehsell and Maverick cuting ties. Mad stated that mehsell just doesnt want to even attempt at being a star or recognized and thats hard for a record company to deal with as they tried to promote her etc etc

it made it seem like they tried to pop her etc but she was not having any of it. I know you stated that Meshell doesnt fir a pop aesthetic anyways and I agree but that Madonna letter was kind of telling in that it shows she kind of was opposed to being one/walking away
